Background

A developer who's been building things on the web since before CSS had layout.

Jonathan Graham

I'm a full-stack developer and technical architect based in Petersfield, Hampshire. Over nearly 30 years I've designed and built scalable platforms across telecoms, employee communications, insurance, and civic technology.

I co-founded Talkfreely in 2006, where for nearly 20 years I led the development of an employee engagement SaaS platform serving blue-chip clients. In that time I've worn every hat — from writing the first line of code to setting technical strategy, mentoring developers, and managing infrastructure.

I'm most at home working across the full stack: Vue / Quasar / TypeScript on the front end, PHP and Node.js on the back end, with PostgreSQL, Docker, and Linux infrastructure underneath. I believe in pragmatic architecture, clean APIs, and shipping working software.
